With Allen Dale 'Ole' Olson
September 18, 2009
As earlier columns have divulged, I began my interest in wine as a member of the U.S. Army of Occupation in Germany after World War II. So did many other Americans of that era. That Occupation may have done as much to stimulate the growth of the wine industry and of wine consumption in America as anything else. The U.S. military presence in Germany still has an impact on Americans. Jordan McDonald spent time as part of that presence just recently, and came home with such vinous taste buds that today she is a sales representative for the Fine Wine Division of the Monarch Beverage Company. Watch the video to learn how her time in Europe influenced the work she does today.
