Indiana wines – what’s the Story?
Indiana Wine Fair @ Story, IN
May 20, 2008
Be sure to watch the video at right featuring Allen Dale 'Ole' Olson at the Story Inn, location of the Indiana Wine Fair

Join 3,000 other Midwesterners in Story on Saturday, April 26 and meet nearly every wine producer from Indiana. More than 30 of them will be pouring samples of their work under big tents around the old barn behind the Story Inn from 1:00 -8:00 p.m. on that day, and visitors will be able to buy wines of their choice to take home with them.

Admission to the Indiana Wine Fair is $15, which includes a Story wine glass keepsake. Parking is free, and shuttle bus service will operate between Nashville and Story.

Many of the 35-plus wineries are entering their wines in a competition to determine the 2008 best wines in various categories -- sweet white, dry white, sweet red, etc. Judges will make the awards two days before the fair, so attendees will be able to see the ribbons and certificates -- and, of course, taste them.

The Story Inn is on State Route 135 about ten miles south of Nashville.
