Down a few steps and you’re in the Old World. Well, not really, but it seems like it. Big Red’s store at 3207 East Third Street has created an underground wine cellar just like those in Europe except for the cobwebs and dampness. It’s well lit, it’s well organized, and it has a tasting bar.

Traditional underground cellars have security, favorable temperatures, and relative quiet. The Third Street cellar has all that plus easy access to shelves and friendly staff who knows how to describe what’s on them.
