The last weekend in April every year for the past six years has seen as many as 5,000 people end up in Story, Indiana, an 1850s village with a population of six (when the four grown children are home). The attraction is wine. Indiana wine to be specific.

The Indiana Wine Fair at Story is the second largest public wine event in Indiana and is a favorite of the some 30 plus wine producers who participate in it. For a day, these producers pour samples of their wines to appreciative attendees who are very likely to buy a single bottle or a couple of cases to take home with them
