Some major media outlets – the NEW YORK TIMES and the WALL STREET JOURNAL, for example -- have full-time staff members covering the wine trade, and the trade itself publishes all kinds of print and internet newsletters about the business of wine and the people who produce, distribute, and sell wines. Even small town newspapers, in spite of declining revenues, are joining the ranks of wine features, and there are wine lovers willing to write those features.
