With Allen Dale 'Ole' Olson
July 8, 2009
Periodically we run into someone whose life story includes so many chapters that they in themselves become a story. To us in the Hoosier Wine Cellar, when that person relates his personal story to the wine trade, we feel doubly blessed. So it is with Karl Mann, former representative of the German Foreign Office to Baghdad, former porcelain maker in Bohemia, and whose family during his early years was caught up in the boundary disputes affecting Bavaria and Czechoslovakia. But we know him today as the southern Indiana representative of Vino LeFebvre, a wine distributor specializing in offerings of boutique wines from France, Italy, Spain, California, and now Argentina. Karl has spent time in the Andes, and on our video he will tell us about the best of Malbec he’s bringing to Indiana. Be sure to watch the video at right featuring Dr. Allen Dale 'Ole' Olson and Karl Mann of Vino LeFebvre, Ft. Wayne, IN »
