Every once in a while you meet someone with a remarkable sense of smell and a phenomenal memory for wines tasted. Brian Ellis is such a person. He says if he has tasted a wine once, he can remember it. That’s one reason he’s been so successful in wine retail for so many years. His outgoing personality makes it easy for him to approach people and his total recall reassures them that his guidance is sound.
